After 4/15
New Inspired Cycle Engineering (ICE) prices
Improved margins for dealers on ICE products.
We are publishing a NEW US Dollar MSRP price list which will become effective on 15th April 2009. From this date onwards all transactions from the USA will be carried out in $USD.
Dealer Margin Increase From 15th April ICE will give an outstanding 51% margin (33.7% Discount) to our Level 2 dealers, and a 43% margin (30% discount) to all of our Level 1 dealers.
Please Go to our web site www.ice.hpv.co.uk Click on “Reference” Click on “Dealers” in the drop down menu Enter User Name “dealers” Enter Password “icetrice3”
You will now see a page with links to all of the dealer pricing information for bikes and trikes. Click on USA dealers Trice or Bike price lists, available in .pdf or .xls format.
Pay in US Dollars, From 15th April ICE will issue US Dollar Invoices, to be paid to ICE in US Dollars. ICE will then accept payment in US Dollars by Master/Visa Card or by Bank transfer to our new HSBC Bank Account, see below.
Or if you prefer you can transfer US Dollars to ICE with Commonwealth Foreign Exchange. A company many of our dealers use. http://www.comfex.com
Credit card charges will be made in $USD to the amount shown on your invoice if you choose that method to pay. Again no currency exchange to consider or credit card currency exchange charge to pay.
Clear Invoices A new Invoice layout shows the full US Dollar MSRP ex. local taxes of each item. The retail price of the shipping is then shown. The MSRP total for the order including shipping is shown. Discount is then listed and applied to the MSRP total. You can see how many dollars you will make on each sale directly from the invoice.
Dealer Discount on every cent you spend with ICE The dealer discount is applied to the shipping as well as the machine and accessories. So you make your margin on all the money you invest in getting the trike or bike to your shop.
Multiple Shipping Bonus Discounts ICE now give a profit boosting $60.00 extra discount on each machine when you order 3 or more machines at one time.
Import Duties ICE will continue to collect and pay all duties and taxes for you in the USA, ensuring fast, trouble free, door to door shipping via UPS Expedited service. You simply sign for the trike, no customs to deal with, no nasty bills to deal with later.
Maximum Margin If you add the discounts together a Level 2 dealer makes around 56% margin! (almost a 36% discount).
No more currency fluctuations US Dealers will have a steady price in $USD unaffected by currency exchange rates. You can give your customers firm prices knowing that you will make your margins just as you would with any other US based product you sell.
Outstanding orders and customer negotiations in progress All orders in progress with ICE and already invoiced will remain unchanged. Any new orders we received before the 15th of April will be at the old pricing and payment structure. This should allow you time to contact any existing potential customers to firm up orders at the old price structure.
ICE's New account details We have now set up a new business bank account in $USD which will be more convenient for some of you to make transfer payments directly into. Please use this account for all future payments. (The old account does not take $USD directly)

Account Name - Inspired Cycle Engineering Ltd
International Bank Account Number IBAN - GB64 MIDL 4005 1569 5694 61
Branch Identifier Code BIC MIDLGB22
Account Number 69569461 We've had a busy April, and there's a few news items of interest to everyone.
We are now shipping trikes with black rims. At the moment, all trikes (20" and 26") with drum brakes will ship with black rims and all trikes with disc brakes will have silver rims (while stocks last). We have silver and black 20" rims in stock if you are building wheels for framesets. Photos of the trikes with black rims will be up on our website soon.
We have discontinued the clip-on Flinger mudguard that was included as standard with our trikes. We had a considerable number of dealers tell us that it didn't suit a product of our calibre, and a few that said they threw it away as soon as they received it. We've started updating our website to remove references to it, but it will take a little while to sort the photos. If you need a rear mudguard, we do offer a quick release mudguard that is lightweight and inexpensive; have a look at http://www.ice.hpv.co.uk/trikes/accessories.htm#full_wrap_rear. The new-style top seat mount will soon be shipping without the mounting bracket that holds the mudguard in place (there may be a few trikes going out with old-style seat mount and no mudguard).
Sales took off just before the new price lists were released, and we are presently working through the backlog. Within 2 weeks we should be back to having trikes in stock for immediate shipment. Until then, thank you for your patience, and if you're waiting for something, we will get your trikes out as soon as the order is ready.
